Dale Jr will be on the
move this weekend at Indianapolis
August 4, 1999
Friday will begin at 7 a.m. in the Garage at Indianapolis Raceway Park in preparation for
the Busch Race Friday night. Then he has to be at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a
mandatory IROC Drivers meeting at 11:15 a.m. and then back to IRP (about a 20 minute
drive) for Busch Practice at 12 noon.
He is scheduled to be the first out for qualifying for the Busch Race at IRP, which starts
at 3:30 pm and then take a helicopter back to IMS for the start of the IROC Race at 4 p.m.
Baring any unfortunate circumstances which prolongs the IROC race it should conclude about
5 p.m. and depending on the winner of the IROC race he may not get out of IMS until about
5:30 p.m.
Then it's back to IRP for the mandatory drivers meeting for the Busch Race that begins at
6 p.m. The Busch Race begins at 7:30 p.m. Note: All times are local for Indianapolis.
