Due to the damage caused on Dale Jr's car when Kevin Lepage put him in the wall, Dale Jr pitted numerous times to repair the damage to his car.  Tony Eury, his crew chief did an outstanding job to keep the car in the race and Dale Jr kept his cool and fought his way back to finish 15th.  Dale Jr said on the radio that in spite of wanting to pay back Lepage he was going to keep his cool and take it like a man.
